The idea suggested by science that, starting from hydrogen and helium, the atoms that make up the universe, including us, were formed in primordial stars following extreme gravitational phenomena, involves a subtle and penetrating fascination. I therefore painted this stream as made up of granules of various matter which, in free fall, obeying gravitational laws, form the true source of biotic life: rocks and woods containing a fresh and dark flow of water.
